Die Sportkommission Roller Derby hat einstimmig die Ausschreibung des Re-Designs des Logos von Roller Derby Deutschland beschlossen. Hurra!
Was bedeutet das konkret?
1. Interessierte Designer*innen können sich bis 31.10.2022 über ein Formular bewerben! Anbei findet ihr das offizielle Ausschreibungsdokument mit allen relevanten Informationen, insbesondere für Personen, die Interesse haben, sich auf die Ausschreibung zu bewerben. Außerdem übersenden wir euch nochmal die transparente Timeline, in der auch steht,welche Instanzen bei welchen Entscheidungen beteiligt sind (Community, Sportkommisssion, Vorstand, Logo-AG). 2. Bitte teilt diese Ausschreibung mit allen kreativen Köpfen, die ihr kennt, damit wir viele coole Menschen erreichen können, die sich dann bewerben, um die Gestaltung umzusetzen. Ihr könnt diese Mail, die Dokumente oder auch den Link zur Webseite teilen.
3. Wenn ihr selbst am Entscheidungsprozess teilhaben und auch abstimmen möchtet (s. Timeline), sagt uns gern Bescheid, wir nehmen euch dann in den Podio-Space auf. Ein Podio-Konto kann sich jede*r anlegen, egal ob eure League dort aktiv ist oder nicht. Wir helfen gern beim Start. Prinzipiell kann jede*r aus der Derby Community Teil der AG werden, aktive Teilnahme wird vorausgesetzt.
4. Potentielle Bewerber*innen, die Unterstützung im Bewerbungsprozess benötigen, Fragen oder Anmerkungen haben, können sich jederzeit bei vorstand@rollerderbygermany.de (Kontakt: Anne/Wanda) oder diversity@rollerderbygermany.de (Kontakt: Navi/brain storm) bei uns melden. Wir möchten Teilnahme und Prozess so transparent und hürdenarm halten wie möglich und freuen uns über Feedback.

The sports commission for roller derby has unanimously decided to commission the re-design of Roller Derby Germany’s new logo. Yay!
What does this mean exactly?
1. Designers who are interested can apply until October 31st. Enclosed you will find the official call for applications including all relevant information, especially for those interested in applying. Also enclosed you can find the timeline of the whole process and who will be involved at which point (Community, sports commission, board of directors, logo task force). 2. Please share this call for applications with any creative people you know, so it gets through to many awesome people who will apply to do the design. You can share this e-mail, the document or the link to our website.
3. If you yourself are interested in participating and voting in the process (as indicated in the timeline), please let us know so we kann invite you to the Podio workspace we will use for communication. Anybody can create a podio account whether or not your league uses the platform. Basically, anybody who is part of the derby community can be part of the task force if you are willing to actively participate.
4. Potential applicants who need help in the application process, who have questions or comment can get in touch anytime via vorstand@rollerderbygermany.de (contact: Anne/Wanda) or diversity@rollerderbygermany.de (contact: Navi/brain storm). Our goal is to create a transparent and accessible process and we are open to any feedback.
